The Mission San Miguel Busy Bees will be having a Rummage Sale in the picnic area of Mission San Miguel on Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th, 2012. Come find that special treasure or to donate your treasures, goods will be accepted on Friday, May 18th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. All proceeds for our Parish Hall building fund for meeting rooms.
On Sunday, September 16, 2012, Old Mission San Miguel will celebrate its 215th birthday with its Annual Fiesta and BBQ, directly following mass which starts at 10:00 am.. Live music will entertain all, as well as dancing, games and prizes. Tickets for the BBQ, which will be available in August of 2012, will include salad, garlic bread, beans, salsa and a choice of beef or chicken, and will be $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children under 12. Desserts, snow cones and refreshments, including beer and wine, will also be offered for sale. The proceeds from the Fiesta help to maintain this National Historical Monument and all donations are tax-deductible. For more information, please phone (805) 467-3256.
The Mission San Miguel Parish Center is the place to be on Tuesday nights. Located at 795 SLO Monterey Road in San Miguel (directly behind Mission San Miguel), this beautiful facility offers four 42" monitors, as well as a large screen for your viewing pleasure. Doors open at 3:30 pm, early birds start at 5:30 pm. Twenty games include early birds, late birds and specials. The first pack is $15.00, second $10.00 and third only $5.00. There is also a FREE half-time game as well as door prizes. Food and soft drinks are always available, as well as complimentary coffee and cookies.
